This aircraft languished several years at Ostend airport, Belgium before it was put up for sale....

... and this is the result...

Parked on factory premises in Wetteren, Belgium, near the N400 road to Gent, the aircraft is reportedly in use as a lifelike training aid to teach the skills of aircraft cabin cleaning. Of note are the new engines (definitely hush-kitted) and the mini Awacs tail antenna !

With the advent of more economic transport aircraft, passenger hauling became an expensive business with the 707. Hence, most of these aircraft became available on the secondhand market, allowing small cargo companies to enter the jet age.
