Airbus A.300

Airbus A.300B1 OO-TEF, Trans European Airways (TEA).

This particular aircraft is notable for several reasons. It is the oldest Airbus aircraft of any type still in existence, being the second built (the very first one, F-WUAB, was destroyed in August 1974). It is the only of the B1 variant around and was the first Airbus to enter commercial service. Nowadays, this particular aircraft languishes at Brussels International airport in a rather sorry state, its useful components having been removed long ago. With the elements having free play the aircraft almost certainly faces the axeman one day.

(Many thanks to Laurent Herjean who provided some useful information and corrections - PLEASE CHECK ALSO THE PAGE CONCERNING THE CURRENT STATE OF OO-TEF)
